Day Care

Sometimes, people with intellectual disabilities are viewed as little more than a drain on the community’s resources. But as we like to say, “Disability is not inability”. Through our workshops, the core members use their skills to make unique contributions to the small and wider community. Knowing this, they can wake up each morning with a sense of purpose and fall asleep each night with a sense of pride.

Day Care Activities are run from 8am to 5pm from Monday to Friday. Activities include Occupational Therapy through work (morning) and leisure and therapy sessions in the afternoon. Apart from these group activities, some Core Members attend individual physiotherapy sessions organised by Community Programme for People living with Disabilities (St. Martin CSA).
